Q. How do I get a copy of an accident or incident report?
A. Reports can be obtained from the Records Division Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:45 pm. The Records Division is closed weekends and holidays. You can call ahead to see if a report is ready. The Records Division phone number is 203-468-3833. Copies are $.50 per page. Accident reports can also be obtained online at www.buycrash.com. Accident reports online are $9.00.
Q. Does the Department offer fingerprinting services?
A. Yes, fingerprints are done in the lobby of Police Headquarters on Wednesdays from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The service is provided by Biometric Identification Services and there is a charge of $25.00, cash or money order payable to Biometric Identification Services. Q. Does the Department conduct child car seat installations or inspections?
